In The Beginning..

There was a time when “nothing” was the only thing in existence. The universe was basically empty, and darkness dominated and lurked in every inch of the universe. It has always been like that back then and nothing ever changed. Then suddenly, a mysterious light ripped through the darkness and the three Gods of Change, Aer, Magnus, and Geah(the Elements) dashed out of the blinding light and placed an essence of their existence in the vast ocean of darkness.

Light in darkness

Their essence eventually swirled and combined together, giving rise to Enuma, the first born Goddess. The Gods of Change bestowed Enuma the power to create; hence she was called the Creator. Soon, the Elements left our universe, unknowingly leaving some of their essence while departing. This leftover essence combined with the surrounding darkness, forming Anubis, the God of Darkness and Discord. Anubis remained in the darkness and silently observed Enuma, who is unaware of his existence. At first, Enuma thought it was too dark to start working, so she created countless balls of light and spread them evenly across the universe, thus creating the stars.

Newly created stars.

Enuma soon becomes aware of the existence of Anubis and she used the immense amount of light radiating from these stars to give birth to the Goddess of Light, Lumia, who prevents darkness from completely engulfing all Enuma’s creations.

Lumia, the Goddess of Light.

Now that light dominated the universe, Enuma began to shape our world and Anubis became furious as his domain is slowly being devoured by light. With a flick of her hand, huge mountains rose and trees, grass, and flowers grew in the newly formed soil. From her tears she made rivers and streams, and from her sweat she made oceans and seas.

Creation of the world.

Soon, our world was rich with beautiful landscapes but Enuma felt something was still missing. She kept thinking what this “something” was and soon fell asleep. During her long and deep slumber, Anubis saw a chance and he assaulted Lumia for taking up much of his domain (darkness). Lumia suffered from various wounds from the assault and managed to escape by releasing a powerful spark of light which blinded Anubis. She then sought Enuma for help but she was unable to wake her up. Eventually, Anubis restored his sight and Lumia recovered from her wounds. Lumia confronted Anubis to make peace but he furiously refused and tried to attack her once again, but this time Lumia was now able to fight back and thus began the eternal battle between light and darkness.

Light vs Darkness

The battle met its end when Enuma finally woke up from her long, deep slumber. In order to end the endless conflict between the two Gods, she took a strand of hair from both of them and out of which she created Libris, the God of Justice. Libris devised a way for both Gods to live equally with one another, so he made day and night as well as summer, winter, autumn, and spring (the four seasons). After everything has been resolved, Enuma reflected upon her dreams and finally realized what was missing in the world she was trying to create, and it was Life. She then lifted her arms and all sorts of living things such as animals, insects, fishes, and birds of all kinds suddenly came into existence and each lived and roamed freely around the world. Finally, she created Juan and Petra, the firstborn humans.

Juan and Petra, the firstborn humans.

She granted them the gifts of love and wisdom for them to rule over this world she had created as the first King and Queen, and with that, Enuma moved on in her task and continued her unending task of creation. Despite her sudden departure, she continued to watch over us through Agila, her Agent of Life , who served as her eyes, mouth, and ears in our world. Agila took the form of an eagle and endlessly surveyed the entire globe.  One night while Agila was hovering above the heavens, he became aware that darkness spawned yet another deity. This was Kamuh Tay’n, the God of Death. He was the first abomination that came to exist in our world as everything he touched dies. Agila caught him strolling along the sea shore, and noticed that the whole body of water is now devoid of life and thus became the Dead Sea.

The Dead Sea.

Not long after, Enuma banished Kamuh Tay’n to the underworld to restrain him and to prevent further loss of life. Queen Petra soon gave birth to Vigrid and Ismeralda which in turn caused her death. King Juan mourned for the loss of his beloved and wept for months until Lumia heard his cries and approached him. She offered to help him raise the siblings and King Juan agreed to make him Queen for the time being. Eventually, King Juan and Queen Lumia fell in love with one another, soon giving birth to the first demi-God, Theus, who soon decided to leave his family to explore the world. The mortal King Juan soon died of old age and lived a happy life with his Queen. Queen Lumia of course mourned his death and she soon passed the throne to the now grown Vigrid and Ismeralda. She returned to her normal life as the God of Light afterwards. The rule of King Vigrid and Queen Ismeralda was long and peaceful. They had 24 daughters and 23 sons who all competed(peacefully) for the throne. After ages, Kingdom Primordia was formed, throughout time some people decided to stay and others decided to set out to conquer other lands, and everything went on from here for this is how it all began.
